If you are here, it means that you want to sign up for an online upcoming event transmitted over the web using video conferencing software (“Webinar”) hosted and organized by Text Inc. (“we”, “us” or “Webinar Organizer”) having its place of business at One International Place, Suite 1400, Boston, MA 02110-2619 United States of America.
By signing up for our Webinar (as defined below), you consent us to the processing of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and you, as a person who signs up for the Webinar, become a “Participant” (also referred to as “you” or “your”) bound by the following Terms.
The Webinar is open to everyone, who is at least 16 years old. We won’t charge you for participating in Webinar as it is free. You can access Webinar via YouTube a third-party online video sharing and social media platform, that enables access to our Webinar (“Streaming Platform”). Please follow the instructions given by the Streaming Platform to avoid any technical difficulties and properly access Webinar. Also, please bear in mind that LiveChat bears no responsibility for Streaming Platform and any technical difficulties when it comes to Webinar accessibility or temporary interruptions in accessing the Webinar and we have no control over third party networks you may access in the course of accessing and viewing Webinar, and therefore, delays and disruption of other network transmissions are completely beyond our control and liability.
As you signed up for Webinar organized by us, we have the legitimate interest to collect and process, and transfer your personal data to our partners as a data controller. We will ask you to provide us with your name, last name, e-mail address, and other contact details (phone number) to provide you access to the specific Webinar which you registered for, as well as to stay in touch with you afterward to collect feedback about the Webinar, update you with our products or share some know-how with you. By accepting these Terms you consent us to do so and to assist in our marketing efforts. You have the right to object to such processing by reaching out to us directly via webinars@livechat.com
Unless otherwise indicated, LiveChat owns the copyright for any content presented in the Webinar, for example, screenshots, pictures, pieces of the presentation, or recordings (“Webinar content”). The Webinar content (i) is to be viewed by the Participants for personal and non-commercial use only and (ii) must under no circumstances be recorded or reproduced to any third party at any time or in any form without written permission of LiveChat. If you seek to use the Webinar content in any way it is your responsibility to obtain approval for such use where necessary. Any breach of copyright, including recording the presentation or any unauthorized use of the material may lead to legal action.
These Terms are governed by the law of Massachusetts, the USA. You agree to use your best efforts to settle amicably all disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or their interpretation. All disputes arising out of or connected with these Terms that can not be resolved amicably are subject to resolution exclusively through the court appropriate for Webinar Organizer’s headquarters.
